How the car finder service works, in a nutshell. 

You tell us what car you want or we help you to decide what you want. 

We search our 20+ suppliers (about 410,000) vehicles from dealerships and finance houses nationwide for the car you want that is immediately available or coming up shortly for sale. This car search is free of charge and saves you valuable time: time spent searching for the right car; time spent phoning cars that are already sold; time spent travelling to cars that are not as described; time spent doing HPI checks for finance outstanding, number plate changes, exports/imports or insurance work carried out on the car. Our car finder service does all this for you.

We come up with some options for you and forward a no obligation quotation, again free of charge. 

If you’re not happy with the options, we discuss why, narrow down or amend the search, and come back with some more options. 

Once you’re happy with one of the options, we get a description (interior, exterior and paperwork) over the phone, along with photos if available, and make sure the car “stacks up” on paper. 

If you’re happy with your choice we will ask for a signed purchase order form and deposit as commitment to us so that we can proceed to the next stage. 

Once we have a deposit and purchase order form, we will travel to view the car. If we travel to view the car and it is not as described and / or not worth buying, we will not purchase, and your deposit will be available to refund or carry over to the next vehicle we go to view for you. All time and travel costs are covered by us, and you are still free to buy elsewhere if you find something you like quicker than we can provide it for you. 

Some of our vehicles are sourced at finance company closed auctions (open only to the motor trade): if the vehicle you have chosen makes too much money at the “block”, we will similarly walk away covering any and all costs, and your deposit is again available to refund or carry over. 

Having confirmed that the car is as described, we go ahead with the purchase. Your car will be available for collection or delivery once any prep work has been completed. We will agree on approximate timescale for this before the purchase takes place. Only at the point at which we have discussed a car on paper, viewed the said car, and confirmed that you want to go ahead and at the agreed price do we ‘push the button’ and buy your car.
